Be A Part of Unlocking science!

April 19-23, 2021

Unlocking Science! is an educational program that brings new science and discovery to every corner of the state. Through this program, content of classroom textbooks is brought to life by visiting scientists who guide students through understanding how biological topics and scientific advancements are connected to an individual’s underlying biology. Through this experience, students gain a better understanding of how scientific advancements impact individual and community health.

 

Beyond this unique educational experience, students also learn about the diversity of careers and individuals in science.

 

This program is provided to schools at no cost thanks to generous financial support from BioKansas member companies and sponsors.

 

For 2022, Unlocking Science will be hosted in the Fall and at Innovation Festival.

 

Unlocking Science! Is a modernized version of the popular Kansas DNA Day program, which has been redesigned to expand and broaden participation within the state.
